About FuturePod

Work has changed. So we rethought the room itself.

FuturePod was born from a simple frustration: most workplaces were being asked to do far more, but the rooms inside them had not caught up.

Work needed quiet focus, hybrid meetings, confidential conversations, assessments, movement, care and decompression. Traditional construction was slow, messy and fixed. Many office pods on the market looked the part, but when we tested them, performance and comfort often fell short.

FuturePod is our response. A high‑end modular pod system that puts acoustic performance, neuroinclusion and real‑world usability ahead of gimmicks, and that can be adapted, moved and refreshed as your needs evolve.

FuturePod is not just another office pod

A lot of “office pods” are essentially furniture pieces with a door. FuturePod starts from a different place.

Performance

We began with performance: how quiet can we make it, how comfortable does it feel, how well does it support hybrid work and different sensory needs.

Modular Construction

We then developed a modular chassis that could support many different uses, from one‑person call booths up to rooms for meetings, learning, healthcare and movement.

Workplace Integration

Finally, we designed the interior and exterior architecture so pods feel like part of the building, not an afterthought dropped into it.

The result is a family of pods that behave like proper rooms, but install with far less disruption and can move with you when you move.

Engineered from the shell up

FuturePods use a 75 mm thick six layer composite wall system. In some models we add a seventh internal layer for even higher performance.

A typical FuturePod wall build-up includes:

  • Steel outer skin
  • Gypsum board for mass and rigidity
  • High density acoustic panel
  • Shock absorbing aluminium frame
  • Acoustic cavity with cotton insulation
  • High density inner acoustic panel

Combined with high performance laminated safety glass and acoustic seals, this construction delivers:

  • Serious sound reduction that supports speech privacy and a calm internal environment, not just a visual barrier
  • Controlled reverberation so voices sound natural on calls and in meetings
  • A solid, permanent feel, even though the pod can be moved, adapted and refurnished over time

FuturePods are tested and certified to international standards, so you can be confident that the performance you see in the specification is what you will experience on site.

Designed for neuroinclusive work

From the beginning, FuturePod was shaped by our work on neuroinclusive workplaces. We saw that many spaces intended for “quiet” or “focus” still created sensory overload, especially for neurodivergent people.

FuturePods address this through:

  • Lower stimulation interiors with calmer palettes, low glare surfaces and controlled contrast.
  • Balanced, low glare lighting that feels comfortable for extended periods and looks good on camera.
  • Strong sound control that reduces background noise and protects conversations.
  • Options for soundscapes such as white noise or calming audio where appropriate.

NeuroPods take this further, creating safer spaces for work, meetings and collaboration that are specifically tuned around the needs of neurodiverse people. But the same principles run across the whole FuturePod range.

Beyond offices

Built for education, healthcare and more

FuturePod started in offices, but quickly proved useful far beyond them.

Schools, colleges and universities use EducationPods to create calm, acoustically controlled rooms for small‑group teaching, one‑to‑one sessions, assessment and quiet support, even in noisy corridors and open learning environments. Custom interiors and exteriors let students and staff make each pod their own.

Healthcare and wellbeing providers use HealthcarePods as consultation and treatment rooms in hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, dental practices and workplace health settings. Acoustic privacy supports sensitive conversations, while hygienic finishes and detailing support clinical use.

Retail and customer‑facing environments use pods for hearing tests, optical consultations, private financial discussions and staff wellbeing rooms within busy stores.

Because the underlying shell is consistent, we can configure pods for many different uses while keeping the same level of performance and finish.

High‑end modular, not disposable

We created FuturePod for clients who want a premium, high‑performance modular solution rather than a basic disposable booth.

Compared with typical pods, FuturePods offer:

  • Higher acoustic performance thanks to multi‑layer construction and tested assemblies
  • More comfortable lighting and ventilation, designed with real use in mind
  • Architectural presence, with clean lines, refined framing and carefully detailed junctions
  • Adaptability over time: pods can be moved, interiors can be refurnished and exteriors can be refreshed as your brand or use changes

Materials, construction and detailing are all specified to a higher standard than typical booths, so pods feel closer to built rooms than furniture. The result is a product that stands up to daily use, supports demanding use cases and still looks and feels premium years after installation.

ValuePod

Our mid‑market disruptor

Not every budget can justify the full FuturePod specification. But we did not want clients to drop all the way down to low‑performance booths when budgets were tight.

That's why we added the ValuePod. A mid‑market disruptor that keeps the key FuturePod concept, at a more accessible price point. ValuePods keep the essentials: real acoustic performance, comfortable lighting and ventilation, solid construction and a clean, modern aesthetic.

For clients who want the very highest performance, the full FuturePod range built on our premium chassis is the answer. For those needing to stretch budgets further, ValuePod gives you a way to do so while still respecting your people and your brand.

Where we are going

FuturePod continues to evolve as we learn from real installations in offices, campuses, healthcare environments and retail spaces. Each project gives us new insights into acoustics, neuroinclusion, technology integration and what people actually need from a room.

Our aim is simple: to create better environments, faster, so that more people can work, learn and receive care in spaces that feel calm, safe and supportive.

If you would like to talk about how FuturePods could work in your organisation, we would be happy to explore it with you.
